Papa Enj in Frankfurt

We came here for lunch. Had to wait for one hour to get our order and food than was served almost cold. Service to be honest is sometimes good and sometimes average. Food is okayish. Price and amount of food is not worth visiting the place. Defo better places to visit.

One of my favorites in Frankfurt. The food is recommendable, a good crossover mix for every day. Highly priced, but rightly in my opinion. So far I have found the service to be consistently good. In summer you sit nicely and gain a little distance to less beautiful corners of Frankfurt. A bit of Munich flair. I always like to come back there.

Very hip and cool, but unfortunately corona regulations are neglected by the staff. The food is always delicious, but unfortunately it is usually too expensive for the quality and there is no flexibility for special requests.

To eat: super delicious! Location: at the Alte Oper, awesome! Operation: incredibly stressed, annoyed! You are ignored for about 25 minutes, unfortunately the gentleman (think owner) is super annoyed, sometimes even so cheeky that we wanted to go. It's a shame! You pay a lot of money for bad service. And if a guest asks for a wine the second time, or if a recommendation does not roll his eyes and say you have already asked me ... or can I pay? The waiter: I'll be patient. I have a lot to do. And then you wait 30 minutes. When asked, there are snotty answers ... And so it went all evening. Really uncool and unfortunately not to be recommended ...

Super restaurant, fantastic food and the best is the wonderful service. Always friendly, supportive and lovely. i like it.......

Location on Opernplatz is great. The choice of food is not great, my chicken wings were tasty but nothing extraordinary either. Gin selection is pretty good. The conditions were super friendly for that.

What a shame ... Since the outside area around the fountain was expanded with a large number of new tables and chairs, the quality of the food has suffered considerably! The pasta is anything but al dente and the meat is absolutely cold. We are talking about a restaurant in a top location parallel to the opera with corresponding prices at a higher level.

Bar right on Opernplatz with a beautiful view of the Old Opera side. Despite the great location, you can get food and drinks at reasonable prices. Waiters are friendly and always available. Absolute in-location on mild summer evenings, especially on weekends.

It's incredibly nice to sit out there on Opernplatz. Card is good, one or the other dish is not my cup of tea, but that is not a problem with the somewhat stubborn menu.

Impudent and rude staff. The waitress simply took away my dish when I was still eating. Three times wrong dishes. The cuisines tasted badly. Never again!

Papa Enji is actually a cool restaurant, which enriches Frankfurt with its creative cuisine. However, you have to be aware of the following points, which is why I deduct from the evaluation: - Prices twice as expensive as appropriate (example: "Börek" rolls or salads; truffle noodles the size of a starter, but the main course price) - Despite the high prices, no bread / butter or other attention in advance - Especially at lunchtime you are not asked for coffee / espresso, but ignored for 20 minutes - You have to order invoices several times and also wait up to 20/25 minutes.

Very nice outdoor area and of course a great location right next to the opera. This time, however, the quality of the food was catastrophic - the "Onion Rings" on the burger were out of the chip bag and were already sticky. In addition, a spoonful of potato salad, which also tasted and looked like from the cheapest section of the supermarket. It's a shame.

The 3 stars are for the nice service and for the location. You sit in front of the old opera and on a summer evening this also has a certain charm. The service was really very friendly and both the drinks and the food came quickly. The prices are set high and I think you should get good food for that. The portions are small and the taste is not very convincing.

Friendly staff, beautiful location. Delicious food but if you are super hungry please be aware that portions are small. Cacao ravioli were super tasty.

Great place and food

Great location, nice service and a changing fancy menu, there is not always something for me and the plate sometimes surprises with the description on the menu but in terms of taste and craftsmanship.

No reason to go here. No hygiene measures. Rude stuff. Overpriced.

The location is attractive, the menu imaginative and unusual. Price-performance ratio not okay according to my taste. Quality and service are ok, but not according to the price level. There is room for improvement here.

The food is good and the service was very attentive and friendly. There were very tasty dishes that are ideal for sharing. For dessert we had a delicious New York cheesecake. There is a small smear because I didn't like the toilet and there weren't that many good drinks to choose from.

Papa Enj is a restaurant whose direction of cuisine cannot really be assigned to a nationality. The food is always delicious, the service from the waiters is excellent. The prices are very high according to the place. You can watch for free how the boss pisses his waiters publicly (@Chef: free feedback ;-))

Hipster fancy crowd and steep prices, but amazing friendly staff, Cacao Ravioli are awesome, and the best steak in town, way better than most Frankfurt steak-houses.

Delicious food and very nice staff. The gentleman ran us through the menu as it was only in German. Loved the salad with goat cheese and the steak was juicy and tasty. Will be back there again!

Upside: loved the food, location near the Alte Oper . Downsides: customer service not at par, the atmosphere is nowhere near where it ought to be be judging by the prices, prices very high (portion of pasta eur 19)

Today’s lunch is from my absolute favorite restaurant to have lunch in town. I had Kakao-Ravioli with truffle sauce. I wish every day lunch looked like this ?

Absolutely top in every way. Tried their pasta with pulled chicken - excellent - and the tuna tartar dish on a bed of avocado war ein Gedicht. Service friendly and warm-hearted, incredibly fast. Loved this place. Wish it was my own little Geheimtipp, but it was hopping full with a good cross-section of local businessfolks enjoying a cozy lunch. I plan on going back for more next Friday. Empfehlenswert!

Delicious yummy yummy We started with a mixed, very delicious appetizer plate and then came the highlight: Rib Eye for 2 plus salad and crispy sweet potato fries. It was sensational! The price is justified. Thank you

Very cozy curly atmosphere in an Italian restaurant in the best central location. Although we had not reserved in the evening we were welcomed friendly. Nice if you can drink a not very cheap wine or Prosecco outside at the bar table in the summer

Dry aged steaks are second to none in town and they have a good wine selection. The manager Avi is great fun!

Very interesting way of preparing food, from both visual and gastronomic point of view.

Great food, the prices can be a little stiff but reflect the crowd well. The outdoor seating is great for a sunny day right next to the old opera. The menue is frequently kept up to date and doesn't disappoint.
